Saudi Arabia uses the Gulf 40 × 60 mm format — the Jawazat application form states the size as “6 × 4”, in colour, with a white background, “not instant or reprinted”. The head should fill 70–80% of the frame. Full Ministry of Interior specification below.

The 40 × 60 mm size and the pure white background are the two rules that cause most rejections.
Use a proper white backdrop or sheet. Stand 0.5–1 m away so no shadow falls behind your head — indoor walls in Riyadh or Jeddah often photograph with a yellow cast.
Camera at eye level, shoulders level, head straight. Remove glasses, keep a neutral expression with the mouth closed.
Upload to IDPhotoWork, select the Gulf 4 × 6 cm format, verify the head fills 70–80% of the frame and the background is pure white, then print two identical copies.
